Egg Calendar

Egg Calendar ("the App") is a personal flock egg tracking tool developed and operated by Nick Flock, a commercial real estate broker based in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, who has access to it, and your rights regarding that data.

Short version: Egg Calendar does not sell your data, does not share it with advertisers, and does not use it for any purpose other than making the App work for you.

Egg Calendar's backend server and database are hosted on infrastructure provided by Manus (manus.im). Manus acts as a data processor and, as the infrastructure provider, has the technical ability to access data stored on its servers, in the same way that any cloud hosting provider (such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud) would. Manus does not actively read, use, or sell your egg data.

File storage (flock photos) is provided by an S3-compatible storage service managed by Manus. Files are stored in a private bucket and are not publicly accessible.

In addition to Manus hosting, the App uses the following third-party services:

No personal data is sent to Open-Meteo. Weather requests include only approximate latitude and longitude coordinates, not your identity or account information.

Egg Calendar uses Sign in with Apple as its sole authentication method. When you sign in, Apple provides the App with a unique user identifier and, at your option, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real address — this is controlled entirely by you in your Apple ID settings.

The App does not receive your Apple ID password at any time. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using the iOS Keychain-backed Capacitor Preferences storage and are transmitted to the server only over encrypted HTTPS connections.

The App requests access to your camera and photo library only when you choose to add a photo to your Flock Photos album. You will be prompted for permission before any access is granted. Photos are uploaded to your private account storage and are not accessible to anyone else. You can delete any photo at any time from within the App.

All data transmitted between the App and the server is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Authentication tokens are stored using iOS secure storage. The database is hosted on a managed cloud platform with access controls. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Upon receiving a deletion request, all egg data, photos, and account information will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Egg Calendar is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, export, or delete it. Residents of the European Union have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Egg Calendar is available worldwide. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and processed on servers located in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

For users in the European Union: Egg Calendar is offered by an individual developer (trader) based in the United States. Contact information is displayed on the App Store listing as required by the EU Digital Services Act.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
